Practicalities
You have probably gathered by now that the wedding - including the ceremony and the dinner - will be outdoors (fingers crossed). The venue is in the middle of nowhere, but we think it’s stunning there + the with the view of the Krivan mountain!!!
Dress code
Yep! Still outdoors! So the priorities should be as follows: 1; weatherproof, 2; comfortable, 3; one in which you feel cute 😊. And particularly those of paler complexion – bring sunscreen (yes, Nassim, we are talking about you 😊)!
How to get there
Most sensible transport option is by car, parking shouldn't be an issue, if not on site, then surely nearby. Another sensible option is to get to Liptovsky Mikulas, or even closer to Liptovsky Hradok, then take a taxi.
Weather
August in Slovakia shouldn’t disappoint, but just in case we ask you to keep your fingers crossed. Those in good books with their deities, add a prayer or two on this topic. Ta!
Food
We will be in the middle of nowhere, so there will be BBQs, goulash, and not-so-formal dining. The nearest supermarket is a few miles away, so we recommend you bring any 'specific necessities' with you (Marmite, paracetamol, antihistamines…)
Gifts
This is how we see it: we consider ourselves very lucky to have all we need - and then some. So, whilst worrying this might sound like a cliché, we would like to tell you that the greatest gift for us will be your presence at our wedding. And we would be most grateful if you didn't concern yourselves with this at all. If this is hard for you to swallow, then do what you must 😉 However, this is our wish - if you have a few photos, old or not-so-old, related to knowing us, we would be grateful if you would print and bring them over, together with a story or two (not too embarassing, please). Thank you
